Arlene extended her repertoire of sharing the joy of chocolate to include the business world.  She ventured into sweet team-building activities, and helped companies successfully launch business gifting programs and shared ways to enhance the effectiveness of gifting efforts without spending more money.  Arlene’s business customers say:

Arlene launched Chocolate Experiences in March 2021.  Rather than relying on a single company, she curates chocolates across multiple sources, ranging from delicious everyday chocolate to artisan chocolates that are truly works of art.  This approach ensures the decadent chocolate morsels are the most appropriate option for the specific chocolate experience theme as well as the desires of the participants.  Sweet treats are shipped directly from the source, ensuring you have the freshest chocolate available.  Arlene crafts a variety of tasting themes based on the latest trends in the world of chocolate, and aligns with reliable chocolate companies to deliver their decadent chocolate straight to you.  

Arlene has decades of experience in the business world – from auditing, accounting, project management, to healthcare product management.  She now uses her strong organization, communication, and project management skills in sweeter ways, along with her deep knowledge of chocolate, to deliver fun and informative chocolate experiences while providing outstanding customer service.  

Awards and Incentive Trips

Since starting her cocoa career, Arlene has received several sales Consistency Awards.  During her tenure as an independent representative with Mars Wrigley, Arlene earned 4 incentive trips as a top producer.  In the Dominican Republic, she experienced the art of making chocolate, from delicate bud to mature bean to delicious cocoa, and visited cacao plantations on two different trips which further increased her knowledge of the cocoa industry.  In St. Kitts, Arlene enjoyed hiking in the rainforest, venturing out to local artisans, sailing on a catamaran, and floating in the Caribbean with other top earners.  She also earned a trip to Grand Cayman which could not occur due to world-wide travel restrictions. 

Arlene is a self-proclaimed foodie, and experiments with creating cocoa-inspired recipes and unique chocolate pairings.  In June 2019, Arlene’s Cocoa Pulled Pork was the People’s Choice at the Rotary Club of West Chester’s pulled pork takedown – a friendly competition that benefited Alex’s Lemonade Stand.  Arlene is dedicated to giving back to the community.  

Arlene received an award for being in the Top 10 Personal Sales Volume across all curators with The Cocoa Exchange™ in the USA for the fiscal year ending June 2020.

Arlene was interviewed for ‘THIS IS IT TV’ in 2019.  In September 2018, the Community Courier for Downingtown/Exton reported a Community Event news item for Arlene’s program on ‘Being an Educated Chocolate Consumer’ at the Chester County Library.  In 2013 and 2014, Arlene was a guest on WCHE’s ‘Wellness 411’ radio program, where she spoke on the healthy aspects of chocolate and conducted a virtual chocolate tasting party.  ‘Wellness 411’ was a radio show on WCHE 1520 AM, based in West Chester, Pennsylvania, that covered alternative healthcare’s current hot topics and treatments.

Arlene is an active member of the Exton Region Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of West Chester.  Arlene is also a member of Business Network International and is currently the President of the Malvern III chapter in Pennsylvania.
